You Are Not Broken. You Are Programmed.
Before you try to change yourself, you need to understand this

Most of your behavior is automatic.
You do not consciously choose every thought, craving, reaction, impulse, and emotional state. Much of your life is being run by patterns that were installed long before you became aware of them.
Your brain is constantly predicting.
It asks:
“What happened last time?”
“What is familiar here?”
“What usually keeps me safe?”
“What identity do I already know how to be?”
This is why people repeat the same problems even when they know better.
Someone can know they need to eat healthier, but still reach for junk food when stressed.
Someone can know they need to make sales calls, but still avoid the phone.
Someone can know they need to go to the gym, but still stay on the couch.
Someone can know they are capable of more, but still shrink back into their old identity.
Knowledge is not enough.
Because the issue is not information.
The issue is programming.
“Your current life is a reflection of the thoughts, emotions, habits, and identity your brain has rehearsed the most.”
So the question is not:
“Why am I like this?”
The better question is:
“What has my brain been trained to repeat?”
Once you understand that, change becomes less personal.
You stop saying, “I’m broken.”
You start saying, “This is a pattern.”
And if it is a pattern, it can be interrupted.
If it can be interrupted, it can be replaced.
If it can be replaced, it can be rewired.
